Data Platform “as a service” data team design

The key to this team design pattern is the data platform team are building the platform for other data teams, not for themselves.

They are building the data platfrom as if the data platform is a product.

One of the challenges with this data team design is the data platform team have to be able to look ahead and see what they will need to build to support the data delivery teams in the future.
